Eric is Evolutionary Home Builder’s building shell and thermal envelope construction specialist, who works on-site constructing our super energy efficient buildings. He is a 30-year veteran of the construction industry and has delivered over $100 million of construction projects in the Chicagoland area. Driving Eric’s approach to building construction and design is a “Conservation First” philosophy on energy efficiency. His dedication and passion to building science has led to his focus on high performance construction and sustainable building practices. Eric’s focus on continuing education has resulted in credentials in both the Certified Passive House Consultant and PHIUS Certified Builder designations. Eric has been involved with the Passive House movement since working on his first Passive House project in 2007. Eric’s industry dedication is recognized at the national level as a Graduate Master Builder “GMB” from the National Association of Home Builders. This highly distinguished designation is held by less than 1% of all builders nationally and only 5 contractors in Illinois currently hold this honor.
